notes: "This is Not a Bomb" is a song we wrote in response to the BPD's pathetic overreaction to Adult Swim's marketing campaign for Aqua Teen, aka, AquaGate. We started writing the song soon after the incident, and the first recording of it can be heard on our live bootleg from WMBR's Pipeline! in April 07. We released this studio track on January 31st 2008, exactly one year after the incident, for free download on our site. It is now available for download on iTunes, with a dub version B-side.

In addition to an obvious rip on Boston authorities' judgement, the song title is also a tip of the hat to Mission of Burma's "This is Not a Photograph". The cover art was a concept by DB, and drawn by our good friend and possible lost cousin of the Zappa family, Matt Doughty. The idea was to make the Mooninite, an absolutely harmless 8-bit character that created the bomb scare controversy, into something truly offensive, in classic Big Daddy Roth style.
